IF You’re just trying to get your stuff up and running you should charge low prices then once you get more fanbase for your vids Up the price by a little and a little more each time(like every 3 or 4 vids you do up the price about 5 or 10 dollars)maybe even more than that.

Question by : Why is a college program for audio engineering so uncommon compared to other engineering programs?
I live in the Chicagoland area, and I couldn’t find a single university that offers audio engineering as a degree! There’s sound design but thats in DePaul’s School of Music and other artsy places. The only schools I found was University of Michigan that offers it, and its requirements are a lot more than other engineering programs I looked at.

Question by : How can i learn how to produce music?
Well i’ve been into electronic music for a while and I want to learn how to produce. However, I don’t want to spend any money on it UNTIL I am sure that I’m actually decent at it and want to carry on. So can anyone give me any tips? (p.s, i have no experience in DJing or producing and just want to start)
PS: I use windows so no GarageBand

Get FL studio, its fairly cheap. The good thing about making and producing electronic music is that you dont necessarily need an audio interface and microphones to record anything these days. You can do everything on the computer. FL studio I beleive is around $ 100. Not sure though. Its really good once you get the hang of it
